The Type 1 Includes An Internal Back Check To Ensure The System Does Not Allow A Back Flow Of Gas. Available In 15″And 20″ Overall Lengths.

This Type 1 Pigtail Provides A Safe, User Friendly Connection From A Regulator To A Standard LPG Gas Cylinder Without The Use Of A Wrench. The Easy To Tighten Nylon Nut Swivels On A Bushing That Is Heat Sensitive. If Excessive Gas Flow Is Detected, The RV “ Back Check” Pigtail Will Shut Down The Flow To A Maximum Of 10 SCFH (By Pass Flow). Inside The Brass Nipple Is A Flow-Limiting Device Designed To Sense Excess Gas Flow. Between 240F And 300F The Brass Nipple Displaces (Approximately 1/42) Closing The Cylinder Valve Module And Stopping The Flow Of Gas From The Container. This Product Is Required By RVIA (Recreational Vehicle Industry Association) As Original Equipment On Your RV. Because Of This Required Standard, When Opening Or Refilling Your LPG Gas Cylinders, It Could Take As Long as 20 Minutes To Re-Pressurise Your LP System To Normal Appliance Operation
